Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has just announced the new, permanent name for 2003 UB-313, aka Xena: they’re calling it Eris.
A very fitting name for a plane- er, dwarf that caused a whole bunch of ruckus over not much substance.
